Disneyland® Resort Ticket Giveaway Contest Rules

• Contest runs from Monday, November 8 through Friday, November 26, 2010.


• Watch for the Disney “Keyword of the Day” on KSBY News Daybreak every weekday morning. The keyword will be announced sometime between 5:30-6:00 a.m. and again between 6:30-7:00 a.m.


• You will have until 5:30 p.m. to go to KSBY.com and enter the keyword in the “Search/Keyword” box in the upper right corner of the website. Just follow the link that appears and register for the contest for that day.


• Daily winner: One entrant will be randomly chosen every weekday evening after 5:30 p.m. and announced in KSBY News at 6:30 p.m. Each daily winner will receive four 1-day Park Hopper® tickets to the Disneyland® Resort.
• Tickets must be used by June 15, 2011.


• Grand Prize weekly winner: Grand prize winners will be chosen randomly from all entries received during that week. One entrant will be chosen each Friday evening after 5:30 p.m. and announced in KSBY News at 6:30 p.m. Each Grand Prize winner will receive four 2-day Park Hopper® tickets to the Disneyland® Resort plus a 1-night stay at a Disneyland® Resort hotel. Once each week’s Grand Prize winner is chosen, a new Grand Prize contest begins on Monday.
• The Grand Prize package must be used by June 15, 2011.
• Grand Prize package fulfillment is subject to certain restrictions and is subject to hotel availability at the Disneyland® Resort.
• Advanced reservations required.
• Saturday night stay may be required.


• One prize per participant throughout the contest.


• Each daily prize package is worth $404, and each Grand Prize package is worth $914. Prizes have no cash value and are non-transferable.


• Daily Prize tickets and Grand Prize tickets and components may not be sold, redeemed for cash, traded, transferred, or rescheduled to dates other than as set forth above.


• Certain travel restrictions apply.


• No purchase necessary.


• To be eligible to play, all qualifiers must meet the following requirements:
• Players must provide their name, address, phone number and valid e-mail address.
• Winners must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to win. Travelers under the age of eighteen (18) must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian and must be eighteen (18) years of age.
• Players must live in San Luis Obispo or Santa Barbara counties.
• Players must hold a valid drivers license issued by the State of California or a valid California ID.
• Players must be United States Citizens or legal residents.
• Prize is non-transferable. Prize has no cash equivalent. Prize may not be exchanged.
• KSBY-6 will be the sole and final judge of eligibility and winner verification.
• Winners entry, name, voice and likeness may be used for publicity, promotion and/or news purposes without further compensation.
• By acceptance of prize, winner assumes full responsibility for all applicable income taxes, sales taxes, license, and other fees that may apply.


• Employees of KSBY-TV and any participating sponsors (Disneyland® Resort), affiliates, their dependents and immediate families, as well as employees of other television stations are not eligible to participate or win.


• Disney, its parent, subsidiary, related and affiliated companies and their respective officers, directors employees and agents shall be released and discharged from any and all legal claims, losses injuries, demands, damages, actions, and /or causes of actions which arise out of and/or in any way related to the prize, the receipt, use and/or enjoyment of the prize and/or the Promotion.


• Winner will be notified by phone or e-mail. A winner notification email may be sent to all entrants.


• All entries become property of KSBY-6 and will not be returned. False or deceptive entries or acts will render entrants ineligible.


• Participants waive any and all claims against KSBY-TV and their affiliated companies and employees for injuries, damages or losses related to the contest.


• By entering, participants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions the sponsor, which shall be final in all matters pertaining to the contest. The sponsor may deem an entrant ineligible to participate in a contest if the entrant disregards the rules.


• The sponsor(s), its officers, agents, and employees are not responsible for and shall not be liable for:(1) garbled, illegible, incomplete, damaged, misdirected, late, lost, or failed entries; (2) telephone, electronic, decoder, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties; (3) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the sponsor(s) which may cause the contest to be disrupted or corrupted; (4) any losses or damages of any kind caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance or use of the prize or resulting from acceptance or use of the prize, or from participation in the contest; (5) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the promotion; or (6) use of person’s name, likeness, or voice. The sponsor(s) reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to suspend or cancel the promotion should virus, bugs, or other causes beyond the control of the sponsor(s) corrupt the administration, security, or proper play of the offering. The sponsor(s) further reserves the right to create a database to utilize the name, street address and e-mail address of an entrant for marketing or other purposes. Entrants may opt out of this database by calling KSBY 6. California law shall apply to this promotion. Any claims must be resolved in the state of California.
