KSBY’s 2010 California Rodeo Ticket Giveaway
Contest Rules
•Contest is enter to win a set of four (4) tickets to the 2010 California Rodeo Salinas on KSBY.com.
•One entry per person: Determined per e-mail address, per computer (i.e. one computer or Internet connection usually equals one IP address).
•Contest begins and runs daily starting June 28, 2010. Entries will be accepted through Wednesday, July 14 at 8am.
•No purchase necessary.
•To be eligible to play, all qualifiers must meet the following requirements:
oPlayers must provide their name, address, phone number and valid e-mail address.
oPlayers must be 18 years or older.
oPlayers must live in San Luis Obispo or Santa Barbara counties.
oPlayers must hold a valid drivers license issued by the State of California.
oPlayers must be United States Citizens or legal residents.
oPrize is non-transferable. Prize has no cash equivalent. Prize may not be exchanged.
oKSBY-TV will be the sole and final judge of eligibility and winner verification.
oWinners name, voice and likeness may be used for publicity, promotion and/or news purposes without further compensation.
oBy acceptance of prize, winner assumes full responsibility for all applicable income taxes, sales taxes, license, and other fees that may apply.
•There will be five (5) winners of four (4) tickets to the 2010 California Rodeo in Salinas. The tickets are good only for one day, either July 15, 16, or 17, 2010. The tickets are not valid on Sunday, July 18.
•The winners will be chosen on Wednesday, June 30 at noon; Friday, July 2 at noon; Wednesday, July 7 at noon; Friday, July 9 at noon; Wednesday, July 14th at 8am. The winners will be called and e-mailed.
•Entrants need only to enter the contest once. Entrants will be in the running through the end of the contest.
•All tickets must be picked up at the KSBY studio in San Luis Obispo by 5pm on Friday, July 16, 2010 (but please note the rodeo starts on Thursday, July 15). KSBY’s office hours are 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
•Employees of KSBY-TV and any participating sponsors (Salinas Sports Complex, California Rodeo Salinas), affiliates, their dependents and immediate families, as well as employees of other television stations are not eligible to participate or win.
•All entries become property of KSBY-TV and will not be returned. False or deceptive entries or acts will render entrants ineligible.
•Participants waive any and all claims against KSBY-TV and their affiliated companies and employees for injuries, damages or losses related to the contest.
•By entering, participants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions the sponsor, which shall be final in all matters pertaining to the contest. The sponsor may deem an entrant ineligible to participate in a contest if the entrant disregards the rules.
•The sponsor(s), its officers, agents, and employees are not responsible for and shall not be liable for:(1) garbled, illegible, incomplete, damaged, misdirected, late, lost, or failed entries; (2) telephone, electronic, decoder, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties; (3) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the sponsor(s) which may cause the contest to be disrupted or corrupted; (4) any losses or damages of any kind caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance or use of the prize or resulting from acceptance or use of the prize, or from participation in the contest; (5) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the promotion; or (6) use of person’s name, likeness, or voice. The sponsor(s) reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to suspend or cancel the promotion should virus, bugs, or other causes beyond the control of the sponsor(s) corrupt the administration, security, or proper play of the offering. The sponsor(s) further reserves the right to create a database to utilize the name, street address and e-mail address of an entrant for marketing or other purposes. Entrants may opt out of this database by calling KSBY 6. California law shall apply to this promotion. Any claims must be resolved in the state of California.
•Winner certifies he or she has read, understands and will abide by all contest rules.
