KSBY’s Wildflower Photo Contest
Contest Rules
•Contest is submit your wildflower photos with a description to the Wildflower Photo Contest on KSBY.com. Anyone can log on to vote for their favorite photos – limit one vote per household per day. Any fraudulent voting may result in entrant being disqualified.
•Contest begins and runs daily starting March 25, 2010. Submissions will be accepted through Sunday, April 11, 2010 at midnight. Voting will continue through Wednesday, April 14 at midnight.
•No purchase necessary.
•To be eligible to play, all qualifiers must meet the following requirements:
oPlayers must provide their name, address, phone number and valid e-mail address.
oPlayers must be 18 years or older.
oPlayers must live in San Luis Obispo or Santa Barbara counties.
oPlayers must hold a valid drivers license issued by the State of California.
oPlayers must be United States Citizens or legal residents.
oPrize is non-transferable. Prize has no cash equivalent. Prize may not be exchanged.
oKSBY-6 will be the sole and final judge of eligibility and winner verification.
oWinners name, voice and likeness may be used for publicity, promotion and/or news purposes without further compensation.
oBy acceptance of prize, winner assumes full responsibility for all applicable income taxes, sales taxes, license, and other fees that may apply.
•Participants will submit their photos to KSBY.com. There will be one grand prize winner, chosen at noon on Thursday, April 15, 2010. The grand prize winner will receive a gift basket from Crushed Grape, a $50 gift certificate to Farm Supply Company as well as a garden tool gift basket. Prizes total $175. Prizes have no cash value and are non-transferable.
•The photo with the most votes will be the grand prize winner. Limit one vote per household per day. Any fraudulent voting may result in entrant being disqualified. In the case of a tie, or fraudulent voting, the winner will be chosen by KSBY committee.
•The grand prize winner will be posted to the contest page and will be announced on Thursday, April 15 on KSBY News at 5.
•Employees of KSBY-TV and any participating vendors (Crushed Grape and Farm Supply Company), affiliates, their dependents and immediate families, as well as employees of other television stations are not eligible to participate or win.
•Winner will be notified by phone or e-mail. A winner notification email may be sent to all entrants.
•All entries become property of KSBY-6 and will not be returned. False or deceptive entries or acts will render entrants ineligible.
•Participants waive any and all claims against KSBY-TV and their affiliated companies and employees for injuries, damages or losses related to the contest.
•By entering, participants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions the sponsor, which shall be final in all matters pertaining to the contest. The sponsor may deem an entrant ineligible to participate in a contest if the entrant disregards the rules.
•The sponsor(s), its officers, agents, and employees are not responsible for and shall not be liable for:(1) garbled, illegible, incomplete, damaged, misdirected, late, lost, or failed entries; (2) telephone, electronic, decoder, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties; (3) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the sponsor(s) which may cause the contest to be disrupted or corrupted; (4) any losses or damages of any kind caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance or use of the prize or resulting from acceptance or use of the prize, or from participation in the contest; (5) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the promotion; or (6) use of person’s name, likeness, or voice. The sponsor(s) reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to suspend or cancel the promotion should virus, bugs, or other causes beyond the control of the sponsor(s) corrupt the administration, security, or proper play of the offering. The sponsor(s) further reserves the right to create a database to utilize the name, street address and e-mail address of an entrant for marketing or other purposes. Entrants may opt out of this database by calling KSBY 6. California law shall apply to this promotion. Any claims must be resolved in the state of California.
•Winner certifies he or she has read, understands and will abide by all contest rules.
